Head Start Classrooms
Volunteer in a Head Start classroom to assist with classroom activities!
Our Head Start classrooms provide free quality education to children 0-5 years old. Sign up below to help teachers with classroom activities!
This opportunity is for those passionate about assisting an active Head Start classroom and engaging with Head Start students. Engagement includes activities like cleaning, reading, and playtime.
Central Kitchen
Our Central Kitchen prepares healthy, fresh meals and nutritious snacks for over 50 Head Start classrooms every day, and they can’t do it without the help of volunteers like you! Sign up below to help sort and pack fresh produce and snacks for children in poverty here in our community.
Summer Dinners
Utah Community Action’s Nutrition program provides free summer dinners weekdays to any child under the age of 18. Wednesday evenings during summer dinners are community focused nights. We need your help setting up, facilitating, and breaking down activities and games for those attending summer dinners.
Season of Giving
During Utah Community Action’s Season of Giving we provide Thanksgiving meal kits to 150 families, and holiday gifts and clothing to approximately 1,200 children and seniors. Join us this year for Stuff-A-Tummy and Operation Chimney Drop to create holiday magic for those in need!
