As we head into the winter season, we’d like to remind everyone of our winter weather guidelines
Utah Community Action services, including our Head Start classes, will remain open, if possible, on all scheduled days throughout the winter.
UCA and UCA Head Start will only close in the event that conditions create health or safety concerns for clients and staff.
Within Head Start, parents will be notified of any delayed starts of cancellations. No notifications mean that our classrooms remain on their normal schedule.
UCA will post Winter Advisory updates on this page as well as on our social media channels as an additional means of notification.
Parents and clients are encouraged to do what is best for their safety and the safety of their families. Please notify your teacher or case manager if you will not be attending class or will miss your appointment.
Thank you for your cooperation!
We assist income-eligible families with services including Adult Education, Case Management & Housing, HEAT, Head Start, Nutrition and Weatherization to help them achieve self-reliance.
