Coronavirus Information

10.30 Update for Head Start Parents:

Due to the growing pandemic and increased numbers of COVID-19 cases for children, family and staff we are having to make an operational change that we want to make you aware of. Beginning Monday, November 2, 2020 all Head Start children will be required to wear face coverings/masks while attending school. This change will allow our services to continue in a more sustained way and help to avoid disruptions and closures related to positive cases and exposure.

We understand the impact this change will have and will be providing a mask to your child on Monday November 2, 2020 as they arrive to school. We will do our best to ensure that your child keeps their mask on throughout the duration of the class. Your child’s teacher will be providing education around masks, including proper way to wear a mask, and why masks are important for our overall safety during group time at school.

Thank you for your continued support as we navigate the many changes related to COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our staff and your children.
